

Job Title: Hardware Store Manager
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing all elements in the daily operation of the retail store.
Duties include but are not limited to;

Provides excellent customer and employee service.

Proactively ensures the store is operating efficiently.

Creates and distributes weekly employee schedules.

Trains store staff on all necessary programs, including the Point of Sale operating system, Cash Handling, and Safety Procedures.

Orders new merchandise promptly to stay ahead of demand.

Makes sure the store displays are in line with the current product offerings.

Addresses customer complaints promptly. Notifies management if needed.

Manages controllable costs.

Generates daily sales reports and cash drawer audits.
-
Notifies management immediately of cash or register inconsistencies.

Notifies management immediately of any employee disciplinary issues.

Conducts product inventory checks as determined by management.

Guarantees the store and stock room are clean and clear of debris.

Manages budget and maintains financial records.
-
Promptly advises the marketing department of any changes to product offerings.

Conducts yearly employee evaluations.
-
Provides employee disciplinary action if needed.

Assists with other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: This position requires applicant to work on Saturdays.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma. Previous retail management required.
